Job Title: Devops Automation Engineer

Location : Charlotte, NC (Day 1 Onsite) (Hybrid).

Contract : 12+ Months.

Key Responsibilities: 

•            Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for environment setup, deployment, and testing

•            Automate deployment and management of applications on OpenShift (OCP)

•            Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to enhance and support CI/CD pipelines

•            Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes

•            Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows and OpenShift clusters

•            Create and maintain documentation for automation processes and deployment strategies

•            Contribute to the improvement of system performance, reliability, and scalability through automation

 Required Skills: 

•            Python scripting – Strong hands-on experience in developing automation scripts

•            OpenShift (OCP) – Practical experience with deploying and managing containers in OpenShift

•            DevOps practices – Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD

•            Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

•            Shell scripting – Ability to automate tasks on Linux/Unix systems

•            Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform (a plus)

•            Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk (preferred)
