Position: Workday HCM Functional Consultant
Location: Detroit, MI (Onsite)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of Workday experience, with at least 5+ years in HCM integrations.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in enterprise HR systems.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM – Recruitment / Talent modules.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Own the Workday HCM product roadmap, focusing on integration strategy and execution.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Lead the design and implementation of integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services.
- Manage Workday releases, tenant refreshes, and change control processes.
- Prioritize backlog items, define user stories, and ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
- Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with support teams.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
Responsibilities:
- Workday Financial Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s Financial Management solution
- Learn and understand clients’ business requirements and design, build, configure, test and support the Workday Financial Management system
- Create custom reports as required · Assist integration team in integration design and testing
Preferred Skills:
- Workday certifications (Product Owner, HCM, Integrations).
- Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
- Familiarity with Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, or third-party HR systems.
