Summary
· We are seeking an experienced Informatica MDM Data Architect with strong expertise in Informatica MDM to lead the redesign and migration of the Location Master data model.
· The role involves refactoring the existing data model while ensuring continuity and synchronization between legacy and new models.
· The architect will design a scalable, maintainable solution that supports current business needs without disrupting existing consumers.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the refactoring of the Location Master data model within Informatica MDM, defining new tables and structures while maintaining linkages to legacy tables.
· Develop a scoped data migration strategy to transition from the existing model to the new model with minimal disruption.
· Design mechanisms to cascade updates from the UI to both old and new data models, ensuring data consistency across systems.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks related to data synchronization and impact on existing downstream consumers.
· Define and enforce best practices for data modelling, including entity relationships, hierarchies, multi-valued attributes, and version control.
· Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical design and to validate the new data model against business needs.
· Document data architecture, migration plans, data flows, and integration points comprehensively.
Qualifications:
· Extensive experience in data architecture and data modelling, with a focus on enterprise MDM solutions and migrations.
· Strong expertise in Informatica MDM (10.x or later), including business entities, workflows, data model configuration, Provisional UI, IDD and rules frameworks.
· Proven track record in designing and executing scoped migration strategies, ensuring synchronization between legacy and new data models.
· Deep understanding of Location Master or similar domain data modelling requirements.
· Strong skills in relational databases, SQL, data integration, and ETL processes.
· Experience managing complex data synchronization and versioning challenges.
