Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend
Engineer with strong expertise in Python and PHP to design, develop,
and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have
hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs, integrating machine
learning models, and working with modern data pipelines and databases.
This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent
communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced,
collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Python and PHP
Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless system integration
Collaborate with data science teams to integrate ML models via APIs or
Python wrappers
Develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines for structured and
unstructured data
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across systems
Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps,
and product teams
Required Skills
Strong experience in Python and PHP development
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development
Familiarity with integrating Machine Learning models using Python APIs
Solid experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex applications
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Experience with data pipelines and data ingestion frameworks
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
