Title: NetSuite ARM (NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management)

Duration: Contract

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Hybrid 3 days / Week)

Role Summary

The NetSuite ARM Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the Advanced Revenue Management module. You will be responsible for ensuring that complex revenue transactions—including multi-element arrangements and subscriptions—are captured accurately and comply with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Module Configuration: Lead the end-to-end setup of NetSuite ARM, including Revenue Rules, Revenue Plans, and Revenue Arrangements.
• Revenue Allocation: Configure and manage Standalone Selling Price (SSP), Fair Value Formulas, and Fair Value Dimensions for multi-element bundles.
• Business Process Mapping: Conduct discovery sessions to translate complex manual revenue spreadsheets into automated NetSuite workflows.
• Compliance Management: Ensure the system accurately identifies performance obligations and automates revenue reclassification (unbilled vs. deferred).
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain specialized reports such as the Revenue Recognition Forecast, Deferred Revenue by Customer, and Billing and Revenue Summary.
• Testing & UAT: Create test scripts specifically for revenue event triggers (e.g., shipping, billing, or milestone-based recognition) and lead User Acceptance Testing.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Core ARM Expertise: Deep knowledge of Revenue Elements, Arrangements, and the “Merge Revenue Arrangements” functionality.
• Accounting Standards: Strong command of ASC 606 and IFRS 15 five-step models.
• NetSuite Ecosystem: Proficiency in related modules like SuiteBilling, Contract Renewals, and Fixed Assets.
• Data Migration: Experience migrating historical revenue data and “open” revenue contracts from legacy systems into NetSuite ARM.
• Advanced Tools: Ability to create complex Saved Searches and use SuiteAnalytics for revenue reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of NetSuite experience, with at least 2+ full-lifecycle implementations specifically involving the ARM module.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (CPA is a significant plus).
• Certification: NetSuite ERP Consultant or NetSuite Certified Financial User preferred.
