Job Title: ETL/ELT Developer – Snowflake & Matillion (AWS)

Job Summary:

Client is seeking an experienced ETL/ELT Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Matillion on AWS to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building modern ELT frameworks in AWS and experience with IBM DataStage is a strong plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion in AWS environment

·         Build and optimize data models in Snowflake Data Warehouse

·         Develop scalable and high-performance data transformation workflows

·         Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and flat files

·         Optimize Snowflake performance (clustering, partitioning, query tuning)

·         Implement best practices for data governance, security, and data quality

·         Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve performance issues

·         Work closely with business analysts and data teams to understand reporting requirements

·         Support migration of legacy ETL processes to modern ELT architecture

·         Document technical design, workflows, and data mappings

 

Required Skills:

·         Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake

·         Experience building ELT pipelines using Matillion (AWS)

·         Strong understanding of AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, Redshift, IAM, etc.)

·         Solid SQL skills and experience with performance tuning

·         Experience with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling

·         Knowledge of data integration patterns and best practices

·         Experience with IBM DataStage

·         Experience working with large-scale enterprise data environments

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

·         5+ years of ETL/ELT development experience

·         2+ years of Snowflake and Matillion experience preferred
