Role Summary
The role involves understanding and interpreting semantic data models in Snowflake, clarifying data definitions, and ensuring alignment across business and BI teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyze semantic models and datasets in Snowflake
- Interpret and document data definitions, business metadata, and technical metadata
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements
- Coordinate with BI Leads to define, refine, and standardize data definitions
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, anomalies, and insights
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and metadata management
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear data definitions
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
