THE ROLE: Senior Business Analyst, Research SolutionsThe Sr. Business Analyst, Research Solutions will be responsible for analyzing and documenting user requirements, problem solving, application support, and project management efforts to offer new solutions and/or enhancements to customers, to automate processing and/or to improve existing business processes and associated information systems for the A+E Research business team. The Sr. Business Analyst, Research Solutions will work closely with the Research client users and IT solution delivery team in providing system solutions for Linear and Digital Ad Sales and Programming Research.MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Business AnalysisGathers and provides analysis of business requirements, use cases, processes and workflows with suggestions for Project ManagementEnsure that programs, initiatives & projects are delivered on time. Manage risks appropriately & plan proactive mitigation.Regular status reporting, including but not limited to project & support status, to IT leadership and business stakeholders.Alerts manager to potential risks and issues of importanceApplication SupportWork closely with development team in application support of current systems.Ensure that repeat defects, break fixes are minimized & focus on analysis of issues and provide recommendation for avoiding common defects.
YOUR STORY: [+BEHAVIORS] (what you need to have)Undergraduate degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field5+ years of IT Business Analysis; 1-2 years of Project Management experienceKnowledge of Research systems from Nielsen and StarMedia; understanding of Media Math and ratings terminology (i.e. MIT, AMRLD, etc.…).Hands on experience with SQL, Snowflake, Databricks and understanding of database methodologies.Hands on experience with Domo, Power BI and Tableau Analytics tools.Experience with API-driven automation, scripting, or workflow automation tools
