Job Title: Back-End Developer
Location: Atlanta, Georgia (5 days in office) – Local Only
Rate: $60/HR on C2C
Role Overview:
We are looking for an Intermediate Back-End Developer to design and build scalable APIs and microservices supporting enterprise-grade applications. The role requires expertise in Java/Spring Boot, databases, and authentication/authorization standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy back-end microservices using Spring Boot.
- Design RESTful APIs following OpenAPI standards.
- Work with relational (SQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
- Implement authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth, JWT, SSO).
- Collaborate with front-end developers and architects to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Integrate back-end services into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Maintain clear API documentation and adhere to coding standards.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot microservices.
- Experience with MongoDB and SQL databases.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and OpenAPI documentation.
- Experience with OAuth2.0, JWT, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Exposure to event-driven architectures.
