Position: Azure Cloud Engineer
Work Location: Tallahassee, Florida (Locals Only)

Required Skills:
· IT work experience requiring expertise in multiple system environments (3-5 years);
· Windows server experience (5+ years);
· Microsoft Azure/Cloud experience (3+ years);
· Linux server experience (3+ years);
· Experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts;
· Experience working in a virtual server/Cloud environment;
· Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting 3rd party applications.
Engineer:
· Server administration experience administering Windows 2016 & newer (3+ years);
· Experience with Active Directory & Domain Name System (DNS) administration experience in an enterprise environment with 1,000 or more users (5+ years).
Administrator:
· Experience with Azure cloud services (e.g. IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) (3+ years);
· Professional IT certifications, such as Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, HPE ASE or Master ASE, VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE;
· Experience with Visio diagrams;
· Experience with agile workflow methodologies;
· Experience with Linux infrastructures, CI/CD tools, and database Structured Query Language (SQL);
· Experience with scripting languages, such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, or Ruby;
· Experience with technologies such as OpenStack, AWS, Cloud Stack, Jenkins, and Maven.
Preferred:
· Experience with IT standards in a criminal justice environment.
Engineer:
· Experience with servers and systems utilized in a criminal justice environment;
· Certification in Agile or Scrum-based Project Management; IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Management Foundations Certified.
Administrator:
· Experience with Microsoft Azure Government tenants (3+ years);
· Experience with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) management (2+ years);
· Experience with Azure Data Warehouses;
· Experience preparing status reports and providing management briefings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft Azure resources;
· Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades as needed to ensure optimization;
· Perform Microsoft Entra ID management activities;
· Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation;
· Work with data center staff, OIT, and users to perform Azure resource deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes;
· Inventory, document, install, and maintain applications on Azure resources and assist users with access;
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows server issues with minimal impact on users etc.
