Title: Azure Architect with strong C# coding exp
Work Location: Bellevue, WA (Can be Remote)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Note: Need to work on late evening hours when there are deployments. That is not every day but only when there is Deployments.
Azure Architect Must Have Skills –
- Azure: 10+ Years
- Kubernetes: 5+ Years
- cloud-native application development: 8+ Years
- C# Coding expected: 8+ Years
- Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL: 5+ Years
- Automated Test Environment Setup (Strong & Mandatory): 5+ Years
Optional Skills: MongoDB, Java, Kotlin, Conduktor, Telecom Domain, DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline
Note: We are looking for Experienced Solution Architect with a minimum of 15 years of experience in cloud architecture, specializing in Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
We need someone who can do hands-on coding.
Job Description:
Experienced Solution Architect with a minimum of 15 years of experience in cloud architecture, specializing in Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using technologies such as C#, MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, Azure Notification Hubs, and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Conduktor (Kafka Management), and experience in the telecom domain are preferred.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Azure Architect must have followings Qualifications :
• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 7–10 years in cloud solution architecture using Azure and Kubernetes.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C# development (required).
• Familiarity with Java and Kotlin for backend development.
• In-depth experience with Azure services: Cosmos DB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Notification Hubs.
• Proven expertise in performance tuning, resource optimization, and cloud cost management.
• Strong track record in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in real-time, high-availability environments.
• Deep knowledge of telemetry, monitoring, and logging using modern tools including Splunk.
• Experience with Kafka Management using Conduktor.
• Ability to guide and implement test automation strategies, integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Followings are the key responsibilities to become Azure Architect
• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure cloud-based solutions on Azure and Kubernetes.
• Develop cloud-native applications using C# (required), with familiarity in Java and Kotlin for backend development.
• Architect solutions using Azure services including Cosmos DB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Event Hubs, Service Bus, and Notification Hubs.
• Drive performance optimization, ensuring applications are responsive, efficient, and cost-effective.
• Take ownership of production issue troubleshooting and resolution, ensuring root causes are identified and addressed permanently.
• Implement and lead telemetry, logging, and monitoring strategies using tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and ELK Stack.
• Provide test automation guidance, supporting robust testing practices and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor technical teams on cloud-native best practices, Kubernetes operations, container orchestration, and microservices design.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, future-proof architectures.
• Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and industry best practices, including any relevant telecom regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the telecom domain, including telecom-specific platforms, architectures, and compliance standards.
• Certification in Azure Solutions Architect or other relevant cloud certifications.
• Exposure to 5G, OSS/BSS, or other telecom technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Domain Experience (If any) – Telecom Preferred but not mandatory
