Description:
AWS Solution Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role focuses on architecting modern cloud environments that align with business objectives, operational excellence, and security standards.
The AWS Cloud Architect will collaborate with stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to understand requirements, address challenges, and deliver end-to-end cloud solutions. The role requires a balance of strategic vision and hands-on expertise, along with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect end-to-end AWS cloud solutions

Develop scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized architectures

Define multi-account strategies using AWS Organizations and Control Tower
-
Create reference architectures, standards, and best practices
-
Lead cloud modernization initiatives (rehost, refactor, rearchitect)
-
Implement AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
-
Design hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises environments (VPN, Direct Connect)
-
Architect high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies across regions
-
Design network architectures (VPC, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, load balancers)
-
Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks (policies, tagging, cost controls)
-
Design and implement cloud security architecture (IAM roles, policies, encryption, KMS)
-
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR, etc.)

Implement identity and access management using AWS IAM and federation
-
Automate infrastructure using IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)
-
Define and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or GitHub Actions

Support containerization and orchestration (Docker, Amazon EKS, ECS)
-
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config)
-
Perform performance tuning and cost optimization (FinOps practices, Trusted Advisor)

Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments
-
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams
-
Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
-
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing

Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Lead proof of concepts (POCs) and innovation initiatives

Provide pre-sales technical support and solution design
-
Support client calls, handle escalations, and participate in on-call rotations
