Location-in Jersey City, NJ must be local

6+ Months Contract

🔍 Seeking an AWS Cloud DBA with Investment Banking and Market Data environment experience for a right-to-hire consulting opportunity. Must be skilled in DevOps and have 2-3 years of experience with AWS Databases.

🔹 Key Requirements:
– Proficiency in AWS Console, CLI, S3, DMS
– Experience with RDS: Postgres, MySQL, Aurora Postgres, NoSQL
– Knowledge of Cloud Watch, RedShift, Snowflake, Redis
– Familiarity with IAM, EKS/ECR, DynamoDB, Document DB
– Strong automation skills in Python, Terraform, Cloud Formation

⚙️ Desired Skills:
– Migration experience to Snowflake, RedShift
– Hands-on with streaming/messaging architectures
– Expertise in service resiliency, HADR designs/solutions
– Ability to automate data migration to various platforms

🚀 We value proactive problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively. Weekend support and rotation among DBAs in the US, London, and India are expected.
