AWS Cloud Architect Consultant
Location: Lebanon NH (Hybrid)
Role Overview
The Cloud Consultant will work closely with clients to understand business and technical requirements, define cloud architecture, and guide technical teams through implementation. The role requires strong expertise in AWS cloud best practices, optimization strategies, and solution guidance across infrastructure, configuration, and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with clients to gather cloud requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide architectural guidance on AWS services, cloud design patterns, and best practices.
Review infrastructure setup including VPC, subnets, networking, IAM, and security controls.
Oversee the installation process including:
AWS Infrastructure setup
Terraform script execution
Client script installation
Manual configuration tasks
Recommend and implement AWS optimization tools for cost, performance, and security improvements.
Guide engineering teams during setup of components such as Postgres, Redis, Kafka, ActiveMQ Artemis, JBoss/Camunda, API Manager, Access Manager, and integrations.
Ensure correct configuration of SCIM provisioning, network configurations, and private link (Azure/AWS).
Prepare and maintain step-by-step implementation documentation.·
Design and implement AWS Single Sign-On (SSO, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Federated SSO integrations with external identity providers·
Exposure to multi-cloud environments is good to have (e.g., Azure, GCP)
Required Skills & Experience
6 -12 years of experience in cloud consulting or solution architecture. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, Well-Architected Framework, and cloud governance.
Experience with Terraform, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure automation.
Knowledge of cloud security and compliance models.
Experience guiding technical teams and leading technical discussions with clients. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
