Automation Engineer – Must have Robotics Experience

Role: Automation Engineer

Location: Washington-MO USA

Duration: Contract

 

Job Description:              

1. Design or Manufacturing Engineering backgrounds (strong in one and familiar with the other)

2. Willingness to learn robotics hardware and software

3. Ability and willingness to work in office and shop

4. Ability to read and understand prints

5. Tooling and Fixtures knowledge

6. Ability to use robotics simulation software and simple programming logic, teaching robots

7. Creative Technical Problem-solving capability

8. Ability to research and explore many options in this field

9. Experimental capability to arrive at the optimum solution

10. Detail oriented, work with other departments

11. Strong Engineering Design Background with Exposure to Refrigeration component design

12. Good exposure to different processes like NPD, VAVE, FMEA, DFMA etc.

13. Exposure to product development cycle like Concept generation, Design Calculation, 3D CAD generation, Design Validation., 2D Manufacturing drawings with GD&T application, Tolerance stack-up, FMEA, Prototype production and the testing processes.

14. Exposure to Refrigeration valve design / System design is Preferred

15. Fluent written and oral communication skills

16. Team handling capability and managing the project

 

Nice to have:

1. Exposure to DFSS and related process will be added advantage
