1st round video interview, 30min

2nd round in person onsite, 1 hour

Required:

As an Applied AI/ML Architect, you will be responsible for leading architectural decisions for the Cloud, and Data Enterprise Portfolios.

You must have a deep understanding of technical architecture and have implemented AI/ML solutions in a cloud environment.

Knowledge of industry best practices around enterprise AI/ML adoption, security, architectures, and patterns. Experience with micro-services architectures and cloud migration for data is a plus.

Technical experience with multi cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Strong interpersonal communications skill is required.

• Position yourself as a trusted advisor to business teams and partner with them to understand their requirements for cloud implementations

• Provide recommendations to clients with respect to AI/ML implementations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for adoption

• Create application architecture, data architecture, deployment architectures, functional design specifications and assist with other project deliverables as needed.

• Design state-of-the-art AI/ML solutions that address customers’ requirements for function, scalability, reliability, security, and performance

• Collaborate with other project teams and other laterals such as Information Security, Compliance, Controls etc. on architectural solutions.

Qualifications:

• Should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree is preferred or equivalent Desired Experiences

• 10+ years of progressive hands-on experience in application development with 5-6 years of solution architecture, systems architecture and engineering, analysis and applications programming in AI related discipline. Technical team leadership role is preferred

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in working with a cloud provider (AWS or Azure)

• Experience with Architecture principles and TOGAF framework is a plus

• AI/ML relevant AWS Professional Certification is preferred

Required Skills

• Proven track record of implementing machine learning solutions, AI services and statistical analysis related projects in production

• Technical leadership with analytical, problem solving and communication skills

• Familiarity with cloud AI/ML platform offerings, features

• Understanding of AI services for speech, vision and text.

• Machine learning background with algorithms

• Expertise in MLOps and dataops lifecycles and engineering implementation in enterprise

• Ability to code in Python, Spark or R as a programming language

Soft skills:

• Strong ability in communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.

• Skilled in creating visual concepts, creating content, and editing content by hand or with the help with computer software to communicate ideas.

Hiring Manager Overview:

This role is hands on engineering AI/ML. Fine turning, creating agency work flows within other bus apps in FNMA.

Person needs to be expertise in cloud tech, AI/ML, integration of AI workflow. Day to day job – architecture experience is a great add on but looking for someone who can start day 1 as hands on.

Hybrid to Plano. Team does meet weekly once or twice. Reston is okay but Plano is preferred. Also expect them to be comfortable in AWS cloud area. Tools like Lambda, RDC, etc. All are very beneficial. Application integration is key, Models may be available but they need to work with team for solutions.

Question 1:

Example of how this person will use AI/ML work experience with existing technology.

Answer: lots of business solutions, single and multi family. Existing application, create database for internal data and have the database pull info to pass to AI and AWS model.

Scenario – new solution based on AI agent. May come up with completely new design.
