API Developer
Role: API Developer – Onshore – B2 – Mobile DAS
Work location: BELLEVUE , WA:Local Only
JOB DESCRIPTION
Required skills:
• Minimum 3 years of Backend API / Microservice development using Node JS.
• 5 years overall development experience for RESTFUL APIs. No junior developers.
• Able to utilize development skills to build new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and unit test coverage.
• Familiarity with Git-based source code management systems
• Able to collaborate with other Software Engineers and work as a team.
• Experience working in an agile / scrum fashion.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Able to adapt to change.
Desirable skills:
• Front-end web development using Angular, typescript, javascript. (Not mandatory for all 3 resources but would like to see at least 1 or 2 be full stack developers)
• Containerization (Docker) experience
• Microservices architecture within Cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID standards for authentication / authorization systems a plus
