Angular, Node JS – Software Engineer

• Utilize and perform various phases of the software development life cycle, including requirement analysis; preparation of high-level program technical specifications after analyzing business requirements, software architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and troubleshooting in various capacities ranging from Team member to a Project Leader under tight deadlines

• Participate as an individual contributor on projects, and in completing activities as a part of a team, relating to special initiatives and/or operations

• Work closely with domain architects on design reviews

• Support the process of translating business needs into formal deliverables

• Oversee the technology system, including end-to-end integration and system automation for daily operations

• Perform technical maintenance and analyze and support external partner-developed applications and products to include debugging and troubleshooting the production environment

• Serves as key technical resource in the design and development of new interfaces/extensions, interacts with external vendors for inbound/outbound interface file exchange

• Serves as key technical resource between Information Services and the Business for Service Requests and problem resolution

• Works with the business and Access Identity Management to determine and identify security access for Application Support and end-user access to the applications

• Supports Information Security on compliance, audits, and security initiatives.

• Build critical working relationships with the business and user communities through gathering a thorough understanding of the business models and processes employed

• Assess and recommend process improvements to maximize benefits, improve efficiencies and minimize costs

Qualification:

You could be a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field of study

• 5+ Years of hands-on experience in design, develop and implementing solutions

• Experience in Agile development and SCRUM methodology

• Min 3 years as a MEAN Stack Developer includes advanced JavaScript (ES5/ES6), Angular 10/11 and Node JS (Node 12 and above)

• Working experience on Kafka Messaging platform (preferred)

• Hands-on experience with scripts using Node or Python

• Experience and knowledge with AWS Services (preferred)

• Experience in using Kafka Connect for integration between source & sink systems.

• Good knowledge of DBs like Snowflake, AWS Aurora, SQL Server etc. (Snowflake preferred)

• Knowledge in Jenkins pipeline and Open Shift Container Platform

• Experience in tools/platforms like GIT, JIRA, Swagger, Dockers, APIGEE

• Expertise in innovation and the ability to implement business led solutions

• Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to learn newer technologies as the need arises and willing to step out of their core comfort zone

• Proficient in software development life cycle – including requirement analysis, preparing high – level program technical specifications after analyzing business requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and troubleshooting

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Job Demands:

• Onsite 3 days/week – San Francisco Bay Area
