Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and technically proficient AI Engineer specializing in Prompt Engineering. In this role, you will be the bridge between our business objectives and the capabilities of cutting-edge generative AI models. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing prompts to elicit desired, high-quality outputs from LLMs and other generative AI systems. This role requires a unique combination of strong coding skills and a deep, intuitive understanding of how to communicate with AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Prompt Design & Optimization: Develop and iterate on prompts to improve the accuracy, relevance, and creativity of AI-generated content. This includes using various techniques such as few-shot prompting, chain-of-thought, and role-playing.
• Model Integration & Deployment: Work with machine learning engineers and developers to integrate fine-tuned prompts and generative AI models into our products and services. You will be responsible for creating APIs and web services that utilize these models effectively.
• Performance Evaluation: Design and implement metrics to measure the quality of AI-generated outputs. This involves analyzing model responses and providing data-driven feedback to improve model performance and prompt design.
• Research & Development: Stay current with the latest advancements in generative AI, LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Gemini), and prompt engineering techniques. Proactively experiment with new models and methods to drive innovation.
• Knowledge Management: Create and maintain a library of best practices, prompt templates, and documentation to empower other teams in their use of generative AI.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, UX designers, and data scientists to translate user needs and business requirements into effective AI solutions. You will be a key voice in defining how we interact with and leverage AI.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with generative AI models and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Google AI).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for deploying and managing AI services.
  • Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, especially Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Prompt Engineering Expertise:
  • Proven experience in designing and optimizing prompts for LLMs to achieve specific outcomes.
  • A deep, intuitive understanding of language, logic, and context to guide AI responses.
  • Ability to conduct iterative testing and analysis of prompt variations.
