Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Test Engineer to lead the testing, validation, and qualification of carrier-grade networking equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in telecom network testing, router and switch testing, wireless technologies, and network performance analysis.

The candidate should be capable of designing and executing comprehensive test plans, configuring complex multi-vendor network environments, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of service provider networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for networking equipment and features.
Set up, configure, and troubleshoot complex multi-vendor networking lab environments that simulate live network conditions.
Validate performance, scalability, reliability, and functionality of carrier-grade networking solutions.
Perform network traffic generation and analysis using tools such as Ixia/Keysight and OTDR.
Test and validate L2/L3 networking protocols, including Ethernet, VLANs, IP, MPLS, BGP, and QoS.
Evaluate wireless technologies, particularly mmWave and E-band point-to-point systems.
Analyze RF performance indicators, including Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), Bit Error Rate (BER), and Receive Signal Level (RSL).
Collaborate with Network Engineering, QA, and Operations teams to identify, debug, and resolve complex network issues.
Document test cases, test results, defects, and technical findings.
Support network qualification and testing activities to ensure high-quality deployments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of hands-on experience in carrier-grade telecom equipment testing and qualification.
Strong experience testing routers, switches, and service provider networking equipment.
Experience with wireless technologies, particularly mmWave and E-band point-to-point technologies.
Strong understanding of RF performance metrics, including SNR, BER, and RSL.
Hands-on knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, including Ethernet, VLANs, IP, MPLS, BGP, and QoS.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting large-scale, multi-vendor network environments.
Hands-on experience with traffic generators and analyzers such as Ixia/Keysight and OTDR.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
PON testing experience.
Python-based test automation using Pytest or similar frameworks.
Knowledge of ESM, OLT, PON, and ONT testing.
Experience with Linux-based test environments and shell scripting.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
Understanding of OSS/BSS systems.
