Summary

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to lead the user experience and interface redesign of a legacy VB.NET application being modernized to a ReactJS front-end with Java Spring Boot services. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to create intuitive, responsive, and modern user experiences while preserving critical business workflows. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing VB.NET application screens and workflows. Create user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Design modern, responsive interfaces for ReactJS applications. Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs. Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather stakeholder feedback. Support migration efforts by translating legacy functionality into modern UX patterns. Required Qualifications8+ years of UI/UX design experience in enterprise applications. Strong portfolio demonstrating web and application design projects. Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools. Experience designing responsive and mobile-friendly web applications. Strong understanding of usability principles, accessibility (WCAG), and user-centered design. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience modernizing legacy applications. Familiarity with ReactJS component-based design. Understanding of Java Spring Boot application architecture. Experience creating enterprise design systems and reusable UI patterns. Knowledge of healthcare, insurance, finance, or other regulated industries is a plus.
