Senior MS SQL DBA

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior MS SQL DBA to manage, support, and optimize SQL Server and cloud database environments.

Key Responsibilities

·         Administer and support SQL Server and cloud databases

·         Monitor uptime, performance, security, and availability

·         Troubleshoot database and application issues

·         Tune SQL queries and optimize database performance

·         Install, patch, upgrade, and migrate SQL Server databases

·         Support high availability, clustering, and mirroring

Required Skills

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

·         2+ years of MS SQL Server database management

·         2+ years in SQL Server installation, patching, upgrades, and migrations

·         1+ year of SQL Server tuning

·         1+ year of Transact-SQL coding and debugging

·         Experience with SQL clustering, mirroring, and high availability

·         1+ year with Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks, or equivalent certification

Preferred Skills

·         Experience with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS

·         Knowledge of data modeling

·         Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
