Juvenile Justice Oversight Director

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced leader to oversee independent monitoring, investigations, and reporting for youth facilities and services. This role focuses on improving safety, compliance, accountability, and service access through objective oversight and actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

·         Conduct facility visits and operational assessments

·         Investigate complaints and sensitive issues

·         Monitor compliance and corrective actions

·         Identify systemic concerns and recommend improvements

·         Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders

Required Skills

·         Degree in juvenile justice, social work, or related field

·         Strong knowledge of juvenile justice policies and legislation

·         Experience in facility assessments, investigations, and reporting

·         Excellent communication, analysis, and confidentiality management

Preferred Skills

·         Experience in oversight, compliance, youth services, criminal justice, or case management

·         Advanced degree or related credentials preferred
