Job Title: Senior .NET API Architect
Location: Indianapolis, IN – Hybrid/Onsite
Duration: 3–6 Months Contract
Rate: $70/hr C2C

Job Description
We are seeking a Senior .NET API Architect to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET, API architecture, microservices, and AWS and will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver resilient enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable REST APIs and microservices using C# and .NET Core.
Translate business requirements into high-performing technical solutions.
Create HLD and LLD architecture documents and technical diagrams using Lucidchart or Draw.io.
Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS.
Integrate third-party systems and collaborate with external stakeholders.
Troubleshoot complex technical and architectural issues.
Implement resilient and fault-tolerant solutions, including idempotency strategies.
Support modernization and decomposition of monolithic applications.
Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
Participate in CI/CD and deployment activities using Harness or similar tools.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and LLMs.
Required Skills
15+ years of overall IT experience
8–10 years of API Architecture experience
Strong C#, .NET, and .NET Core
REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
Entity Framework
Strong PostgreSQL experience, including database design and performance tuning
Hands-on AWS experience with:AWS Lambda
SQS
EventBridge
S3
AWS Glue
CloudWatch
Parameter Store
HLD/LLD documentation and architecture diagramming
Domain-Driven Design and monolith decomposition
CI/CD experience with Harness or similar tools
Experience with Cursor or similar AI development tools and LLMs
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
