Priority Role: Semantic Data & Knowledge Engineer – Semantic Data Models
Location: NYC, NY; Sunrise, FL & Phoenix, AZ
Contract: 12+ months with possible extension

Job Description: This role is responsible for designing and implementing semantic data foundations that enable business-context-driven analytics, AI, and knowledge retrieval. The individual bridges business concepts, data architecture, and AI-ready knowledge structures across structured and unstructured data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop enterprise domain models, ontologies, and business semantic layers that provide consistent business definitions across data assets.
Translate business concepts and processes into semantic models, knowledge graphs, and reusable data products.
Build and curate AI-ready knowledge bases by integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
Apply context engineering principles to improve retrieval, reasoning, and grounding for GenAI and agentic AI solutions.
Define relationships, metadata, taxonomies, and business rules to enhance discoverability and interoperability of enterprise data.
Collaborate with business, data governance, and engineering teams to align semantic models with organizational objectives and data standards.
