Engineering Manager (Azure + .NET + Microservices + AI/LLM engineering)
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams and drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, React.js, Azure, microservices, DevSecOps, and AI-assisted engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical roadmap and end-to-end architecture, development, and delivery of solutions.
Act as a senior technical leader, contributing to design, coding, troubleshooting, and code reviews.
Design and build scalable Azure cloud-native applications using .NET and microservices.
Drive adoption of AI-assisted development and LLM-based developer tools.
Build AI-backed solutions involving context/retrieval design, evaluation, monitoring, and secure prompting.
Partner with Product, Architecture, Cloud, Security, and Engineering teams.
Implement secure development practices, CI/CD, RBAC, encryption, and data governance.
Mentor and manage engineers, including hiring, training, and performance development.
Drive Agile/Scrum practices, rapid prototyping, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, and React.js.
Strong Azure experience, particularly:
Azure API Apps
Azure Logic Apps
Azure Functions
REST APIs
Azure Cosmos DB
Proven experience designing microservices architecture at scale.
Strong DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing experience.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering / LLM-based developer tools.
Experience with Agile/Scrum and rapid POC development.
4+ years of supervisory/people leadership experience with mentoring experience.
Experience working with multiple data sources and designing REST APIs.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Camunda / Business Process Management (BPM) experience.
Healthcare technology experience with HIPAA, PHI/PII, and healthcare interoperability.
Experience with AI-backed applications, retrieval/context design, and AI evaluation/monitoring.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
