Job Description
Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL jobs using IBM InfoSphere DataStage Parallel Framework.
Develop DataStage jobs, sequences, shared containers, and custom stages.
Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts for batch execution, file transfers, directory management, and error handling.
Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and queries.
Perform performance tuning across DataStage jobs, Unix scripts, and Oracle queries.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and dimensional data models.
Manage batch scheduling using Control-M, Autosys, or similar tools.
Support production deployments, system monitoring, and Tier-3 escalation.
Maintain data quality, code repositories, and technical documentation.
Required Skills
8+ years of IBM DataStage experience.
8+ years of Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting experience.
8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience.
Strong ETL and Data Warehousing experience.
Experience with Oracle execution plans, index tuning, and partitioning.
Strong knowledge of Star/Snowflake schemas and SCD Type 1/2/3.
Experience with Control-M or Autosys.
