Power BI Developer/Writer profiles that designs and deploys data models, operational dashboards, and analytics
Key Responsibilities
- Report Development: Build, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and paginated reports tracking claims processing, membership, and financial metrics.
- SQL & Data Extraction:Â Write and optimize advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and views against the QNXT database schema to extract clean, reliable data.
- Requirement Gathering:Â Partner with operational, financial, and clinical stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable KPI metrics and specifications.
- Maintenance & Optimization:Â Monitor dataset refresh schedules, tune report performance, and troubleshoot data discrepancy issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:Â 5+ years of focused BI reporting and data analysis experience, preferably within a healthcare payer or managed care environment. Â
- MUST HAVE: Report writer with both Amisys and QNXT with excellent communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service), T-SQL, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Familiarity with core administration data models (claims, enrollment, provider networks) insideÂ
