Job Title : Power BI Developer

Location : Seattle, WA (Onsite)

Duration : 12+ Months

 

Job Description :

Roles and Responsibilities:  

• Strong understanding of data analysis, BI, and data warehousing concepts.
• Expert in Power BI report development, pagination (Report Builder), and embedded analytics.
• Skilled in Direct Query connections and designing Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Proficient in complex DAX queries, Power Query, and data modelling.
• Experience with gateways, scheduling reports, and On-Premise Data Gateway setup.
• Capable of developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
• Hands-on with Power BI admin tasks: tenant settings, user access, premium configurations.

Secondary Skills – Tableau

• Working knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Ability to support Tableau dashboards and visualization enhancements.
• Familiarity with Tableau Prep and data blending techniques.

Additional Requirements

• Experience connecting to PostgreSQL, AWS, and other telecom-relevant data sources.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Participate in requirement gathering and convert business needs into technical documentation.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and resolve production issues.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—for stakeholder engagement.
