We are seeking a hands-on Lead Full-Stack Developer to guide the architecture, development, and quality of our guest-facing digital platforms. This role sits at the intersection of hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and vendor governance — you'll write and review code, set technical direction, and serve as the primary internal owner overseeing third-party agencies and development partners who manage portions of our external-facing websites and applications.

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and services using React and Node.js
• Contribute directly to high-priority features across guest-facing sites, loyalty program functionality, and internal tools.
• Architect scalable, maintainable solutions that support high-traffic consumer applications (peak seasonal traffic, promotions, reservations, online ordering, etc.)
• Perform code reviews and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural consistency across internal and vendor-developed code
• Establish and champion development standards, CI/CD practices, testing strategy, and documentation
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers; act as a technical resource across the team
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for third-party agencies and development partners managing external-facing sites and integrations
• Review vendor-delivered code, architecture decisions, and release plans to ensure quality, security, and alignment with internal standards
• Manage the cadence of vendor deliverables, sprint planning input, and issue escalation/resolution
• Balance in-house development priorities with outsourced workstreams to ensure a cohesive, well-architected platform
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, E-Commerce, Loyalty club, IT) to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support and help build integrations with Salesforce (Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and/or Service Cloud, depending on environment) and other third-party platforms (POS, CRM, loyalty, payment, reservation systems)
• Ensure data integrity and reliable data flow between guest-facing applications and backend/CRM systems

 

Job Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional full-stack development experience, with strong expertise in React and Node.js
• Prior experience in a Lead or senior technical ownership role, including code review responsibilities and mentoring other engineers
• Demonstrated experience managing or closely partnering with third-party development vendors/agencies, including reviewing their work product and holding them to a quality bar
• Background in restaurant, hospitality, or consumer-facing retail/e-commerce environments — you understand the unique demands of guest-facing digital experiences (uptime expectations, seasonal traffic spikes, brand consistency, loyalty/rewards programs)
• Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or Salesforce APIs) strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with modern front-end tooling (react) and backend patterns (microservices, serverless, or monolith-to-service migration)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control workflows (Git), and agile development practices
• Strong communication skills — able to translate between business stakeholders, internal engineers, and external vendor teams
