Type: Contract
*Key Responsibilities:*
– Design Lakehouse architecture on Databricks for Insurance data (Policy, Claims, Billing, Underwriting)
– Build scalable pipelines for Claims data ingestion, FNOL, reserving, and actuarial reporting
– Implement Medallion Architecture with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables
– Define data models for Policy/Claims 360, Star Schema for reporting
– Ensure HIPAA/PII compliance, data masking, and governance
– Lead client workshops and provide architectural guidance to data engineering teams

*Required Skills:*
– 10+ years Data Architecture, 4+ years Databricks (PySpark, Python, SQL)
– *Must have Insurance domain exp:* P&C / Life / Health – Claims, Underwriting, Policy Admin systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek preferred)
– Experience with Databricks on AWS/Azure, Terraform, CI/CD
– Knowledge of Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow/ADF
– Strong communication and stakeholder management

*Preferred:*
– Databricks Certified Data Engineer / Architect
– Experience with regulatory reporting (NAIC, STAT)
