AWS DevOps Engineer – Telecom Domain

Rate: $60/hr on c2c

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud, DevOps automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and production environments.

Telecom/Wireless domain experience is mandatory. The ideal candidate should have worked on telecom platforms, network applications, OSS/BSS systems, provisioning, billing, customer-facing telecom applications, or related telecom technology environments.

Must Have Skills

12+  years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with AWS
EC2
VPC
S3
IAM
RDS
EKS/ECS
CloudWatch
Strong CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent
Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
Strong Docker and Kubernetes experience
Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting
Bash and/or Python scripting
Experience with Git and source-control workflows
Experience implementing and supporting cloud deployments and production environments
Monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
Strong understanding of networking, security, scalability, and high availability
Telecom/Wireless domain experience – MANDATORY
Telecom Domain Experience

Candidates should have experience working with one or more of the following:

Network management or network applications

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployments
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Monitor AWS infrastructure and production applications
Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and application issues
Implement security, reliability, scalability, and high-availability best practices
Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python/Bash
Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, network, and telecom engineering teams
Support production releases, incident management, and root-cause analysis
Improve deployment automation and overall engineering efficiency

Important Screening Requirement

Telecom/Wireless domain experience is mandatory. Candidates with strong AWS/DevOps skills but no telecom experience should not be considered.
