Role: Database & Kafka Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC / Dallas TX / McLean VA (100% Onsite) – No flexibility
Mode: Contract
Job Description:
Strong experience designing and supporting distributed messaging solutions using Apache Kafka.
Experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL in large-scale production environments.
Experience developing and integrating API solutions using Apigee or similar API management platforms.
Experience implementing monitoring and observability using Splunk, Grafana, or equivalent tools.
Proven experience building event-driven and data-intensive applications.
Experience with database performance tuning, optimization, and high-availability architectures.
Knowledge of cloud-native data platform services and messaging technologies.
Experience automating operational and data management tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Go.
Understanding of security, resiliency, backup, and disaster recovery concepts for data platforms.
