·       Bachelors’ degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline
·       +5 years of experience in packaging engineering, product packaging development, manufacturing engineering, or a related technical discipline.
·       Practical knowledge developing packaging solutions for industrial, commercial, consumer, or engineered products.
·       Experience working with packaging suppliers, testing laboratories, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional product development organizations.
·       Strong knowledge of corrugated packaging, molded fiber, plastics, foams, sustainable materials, pallets, and shipping containers.
·       Knowledge of packaging sustainability principles and circular economy concepts.
·       Familiarity with sustainability regulations and reporting requirements, including EPR programs, recyclability standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
·       Experience with packaging cost modeling and value engineering methodologies.
·       Comprehensive verbal, written, and presentation skills, capable of interacting with various levels of management.
·       Demonstrates flexibility in work assignments to effectively meet the team's needs.
·       Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications.
·       Proactive, result-oriented, and hands-on attitude.
·       Previous engineering experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
·       Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
