Onshore ETL Developer

Location: St. Louis, MO -Onsite

Contract -C2C/W2

 

 

 

Overall IT experience in the 7 to 12 year range
At least 7 years’ experience in Data Analysis, Profiling, Quality Validation, and Mapping
At least 7 years’ experience in ETL development including designing data warehouses
(ETL experience needs to include development without typical ETL tools like Informatica or Ab initio)
At least 7 years’ experience in using SQL to understand data within DBMSs such as Teradata, Oracle, and SQL*Server
At least 4 years’ experience in AWS Services such as EC2, S3, Redshift, IAM, CloudWatch, SNS, and Lambda.
At least 4 years’ experience in Analytical ETL development of Facts/Dimensions with stored procedure
Very proficient in gathering and documenting data requirements, creating Source to Target mappings, and documenting technical designs.
Must have experience in Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Database concepts
Must have hands on experience with cloud Data Warehouse i.e., AWS Redshift
Experience in optimizing and tuning SQL scripts for AWS Redshift & Teradata – nice to have Oracle
Proficiency with Unix/Linux shell scripts
Demonstrated skills with triaging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues
Demonstrated skills in researching, synthesizing, and documenting data anomalies
Proficiency in conducting code reviews and instilling best practices with offshore team
Experience in full development life cycle (including testing)
Excellent communication, organization, and facilitation skills
Experience managing workloads with JIRA or similar tools
Nice to have Data Warehousing in Big Data Hadoop, Snowflake, Oracle, and Teradata environments
