Detailed JD :

The SAP SuccessFactors Data Conversion Support Resource will support data conversion activities for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and other in-scope SuccessFactors modules. Working under the direction of the Data Conversion Workstream Lead, this resource will assist with data readiness efforts, preparation of conversion load files, execution of data loads, issue tracking, and post-load validation activities across mock conversion cycles, testing events, cutover preparation, and post-go-live support.

This is a support role, not the overall SuccessFactors data conversion lead role. The resource is expected to execute assigned conversion tasks, maintain organized conversion work products, escalate risks and issues, and collaborate with Client’s business stakeholders, HR Strategies Corp. (HRSC), functional consultants, source system owners, and technical resources to help ensure converted data is accurate, complete, and ready to support project testing and deployment milestones.

Role clarity: This resource supports execution of the SuccessFactors conversion workstream. Overall conversion strategy, client leadership, governance, escalation management, and cross-workstream coordination remain with the Data Conversion Workstream Lead.

 

Core Responsibilities

Data Readiness Support

Support data profiling, quality assessment, and readiness evaluation activities for Employee Central and other SuccessFactors conversion objects.

Assist with identification and documentation of data gaps, quality issues, missing values, validation failures, and conversion risks.

Track business data cleansing and remediation activities through assigned action items and issue logs.

Coordinate collection of source data, supplemental files, and business inputs needed to support conversion preparation.

Prepare data readiness status inputs for review by the Data Conversion Workstream Lead.

Load File Preparation

Prepare, update, and maintain conversion load templates and load files in accordance with approved SuccessFactors requirements.

Apply approved source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, derivations, defaults, and formatting requirements to conversion datasets.

Validate load file structure, completeness, field-level formatting, value validity, and required-field population prior to submission or load execution.

Maintain version control for load files, mapping artifacts, validation workbooks, and related conversion documentation.

Support updates to mapping and load preparation materials as configuration decisions, data rules, or defect resolutions are finalized.

Data Load Execution Support

Perform or support execution of data loads into SuccessFactors environments as assigned and in accordance with project procedures.

Support mock conversion cycles, test load cycles, dress rehearsal activities, and production cutover conversion tasks.

Review load results, error logs, warning messages, rejected records, and exception outputs following each load activity.

Coordinate corrections and reload activities with functional, technical, and business resources as directed.

Maintain clear documentation of load activities, load outcomes, and files used for each conversion cycle.

Issue Management Support

Log, track, and monitor conversion-related issues, data quality findings, load errors, reconciliation discrepancies, and validation defects.

Support root cause analysis for data load failures and post-load validation exceptions.

Work with HRSC, Accely, functional teams, business SMEs, and source system owners to gather information needed to resolve conversion issues.

Maintain issue trackers, action item logs, defect notes, and status updates for review by the Data Conversion Workstream Lead.

Escalate unresolved issues, critical blockers, recurring defects, and timeline risks in a timely manner.

Post-Load Validation and Reconciliation

Execute post-load validation procedures following assigned conversion loads.

Perform record count reconciliation, key-field validation, attribute-level sampling, and exception review as defined by the project.

Compare source data, transformed files, and loaded SuccessFactors results to identify variances requiring remediation.

Support business validation sessions and defect triage discussions by preparing evidence, examples, and validation findings.

Document reconciliation results, validation outcomes, remediation actions, and signoff support materials.

Testing, Cutover, and Hypercare Support

Support conversion activities during SIT, UAT, payroll-related testing, mock conversion cycles, dress rehearsals, and cutover preparation.

Assist with execution of assigned cutover tasks during production migration.

Support post-go-live validation and hypercare issue triage related to converted SuccessFactors data.

Help confirm that conversion deliverables, issue logs, validation evidence, and reconciliation outputs are complete and organized for each project milestone.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

• 3 to 7 years of experience supporting data conversion, data migration, data quality, or data management activities.
• Hands-on experience preparing, validating, and managing structured load files for enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central or comparable cloud HCM applications.
• Understanding of HR master data, employee lifecycle data, organizational structures, job information, compensation, and related HCM data domains.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills, including ability to review large datasets, identify discrepancies, and document findings clearly.
• Experience supporting data load cycles, reconciliation activities, defect tracking, and post-load validation.
• Strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, documentation quality, and follow-through on assigned tasks.

Ability to work collaboratively with project leadership, functional consultants, business SMEs, system integrators, and technical resources.

Key Success Measures

Conversion load files are prepared accurately and delivered in accordance with project timelines.

Data readiness issues, gaps, and risks are identified early and tracked through resolution.

Data loads are executed or supported with clear evidence of files used, errors encountered, and corrections applied.

Post-load validation and reconciliation activities are completed with documented results and open items.

Conversion defects are logged, updated, and escalated appropriately.
