Role:
L3 Production Support Engineer responsible for supporting enterprise AWS data platforms, ETL pipelines, and Databricks workloads, troubleshooting critical production issues, and coordinating with onsite stakeholders and offshore engineering teams.

Must-Have Skills:

AWS: Glue, Redshift, S3, IAM, CloudWatch
PySpark / Spark / Spark SQL
Databricks: Jobs, Workflows, Notebooks, Clusters
Advanced SQL: Joins, analytical functions, query optimization, performance tuning
Production/L3 support, incident management & RCA
ETL/ELT, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing & Data Quality
Strong debugging of pipelines, applications, databases & cloud infrastructure
Git, CI/CD & deployment processes
Python/Shell scripting for automation
Monitoring, logging, alerting & ticketing tools
Key Responsibilities:

Own L3 production incidents from troubleshooting through RCA and permanent fix.
Debug AWS Glue, Redshift, Databricks, PySpark and SQL issues.
Handle pipeline failures, data mismatches, performance issues and access/configuration problems.
Lead critical incident bridges and communicate with business/customer stakeholders.
Coordinate onsite teams with offshore support/data engineering teams.
Support releases, deployments and production validation.
Create RCA, runbooks, troubleshooting guides and operational documentation.
Automate repetitive support activities and improve monitoring.
Mentor L1/L2 engineers.
