Job Title – ServiceNow Developer/Technical Lead
Work location – Santa Clara, CA (on-site is must)

We required a strong ServiceNow Developer/Technical Lead requirement rather than a generic ServiceNow developer role.

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)

5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
Strong expertise in:
ITSM
HRSD (especially Lifecycle Events)
Legal Service Delivery (Legal SD)
Experience building Scoped Applications from scratch
Experience developing Custom Scripted REST APIs
Strong ServiceNow development skills:
JavaScript
Business Rules
Client Scripts
Script Includes
UI Policies
UI Actions
Flow Designer / Workflow
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external enterprise systems

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

IntegrationHub
Service Portal
AngularJS
HTML/CSS
App Engine Studio
HRSD Employee Lifecycle Events
Complex workflow automation

Potential Red Flags

❌ ITSM-only profiles with no HRSD or Legal SD exposure
❌ Administrators with limited development experience
❌ Candidates who only configure OOTB modules but have not built Scoped Apps
❌ No Custom Scripted REST API development experience
❌ Dependency on architects/business analysts for requirements gathering
