Job Summary
JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced Engineer with strong expertise in modern cloud-native application development using Java, AWS, and Python. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable enterprise applications, implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, developing serverless solutions with AWS Lambda, and exposure to AI/ML technologies. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy secure, high-performance applications within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and production support.
- Experience working with Redis and MongoDB in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Terraform.
- Develop automation scripts and backend utilities using Python.
- Integrate AI-powered capabilities or leverage AI/LLM services where applicable to improve application functionality and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar DevOps tools.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Ensure applications comply with enterprise security, scalability, and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

- AWS Certification (Associate or Professional).
- Experience in financial services or banking domain.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards and enterprise application architecture.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
