SQL Developer with COBOL

SQL Developer
Remote: Only US Citizen

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL, COBOL, and DOS batch files.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Design and develop reports.
• Collaborate effectively within the development team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Must have advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries optimization (Microsoft SQL server preferred).
• Knowledge of DOS batch scripting is required.
• Should have COBOL experience, preferably has recent experience in not pure mainframe environment. NetCobol is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.
• Experience with financial services domain is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
