Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks Technical Lead with strong expertise in modern data engineering, architecture, and financial data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership experience driving end-to-end data solutions, mentoring engineering teams, and delivering scalable analytics platforms. Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP is highly preferred; candidates with extensive Financial ERP domain experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture, technical design, delivery planning, estimations, and execution of enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives.
Provide hands-on technical leadership while mentoring and guiding development teams.
Drive development, optimization, and maintenance of Databricks-based data platforms.
Lead pipeline development, refactoring efforts, DBT model conversion, and engineering standardization initiatives.
Design and implement metadata-driven frameworks, automation, and code-generation solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analytics teams, and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure CI/CD best practices using Azure DevOps and Git.
Optimize Gold-layer Delta tables and dimensional models for high-performance Power BI reporting and analytics.
Implement upstream data transformations to reduce complex downstream DAX calculations and improve reporting efficiency.
Support data governance, lineage, and cataloging initiatives using Unity Catalog.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering and Analytics.
5+ years of hands-on Databricks experience.

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, including:Oracle Fusion financial data structures
BICC extraction patterns
Financial reporting and analytics
Experience working with complex financial data domains such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Procurement.
Expertise in designing analytics-ready data models for Power BI consumption.
Experience building scalable and governed Lakehouse architectures.
