Required Experience
7+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
5+ years of enterprise-level manual testing.
Hospitality industry experience is mandatory.
Experience supporting hotel loyalty, guest engagement, reservations, or digital customer experience platforms.
Experience testing customer loyalty or rewards applications.
Experience working with distributed enterprise systems and microservices.
Strong understanding of customer-facing web applications.
Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive manual testing of customer-facing web applications and REST APIs.
Validate enhancements for Hyatt’s loyalty and rewards platform.
Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and execution plans.
Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
Perform REST API validation, including authentication, payloads, error handling, and response verification.
Validate data flow between frontend applications and backend services.
Identify, document, and track software defects with detailed reproduction steps.
Troubleshoot application issues using browser developer tools, API logs, and network traffic analysis.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams to resolve defects.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Provide testing status updates, release readiness assessments, and production validation support.
Ensure all deliverables meet Hyatt’s quality standards while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
