Role: AWS Redshift DBA

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:
• Experience: 12+ years as a DBA that include Database & Query Performance Tuning
• Hands-on DB and Server troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of day-to-day database operations, deployments, and development
• Extensive database experience with RDS and AWS Redshift
• Redshift and Aurora Cluster & Database Administration support
• Must have excellent Redshift experience along with DBA knowledge
• Excellent understanding of the AWS architecture (RDS, S3) • Hands-on experience with Python scripting & Automation • Optimizing and tuning the Redshift environment including Cluster, Database & SQL queries
• Knowledge of Data Replication, Data Sharing & Data Modelling including Logical and Physical data source
• Good knowledge of analyzing explaining plan and tune workloads to improve runtime
• Good knowledge of Workload Management within Redshift along with queue mgmt.
• Knowledge of ADFS and User Access management
• Knowledge of setting up Cloud Monitoring and Alert Metrics management
• Good to have an Apache airflow experience
• Excellent communication and a Team player
• Good to have – AWS Certified Solution Architect.
