AWS Solution Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions for our clients and internal projects. 

This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring optimal cloud infrastructure design and deployment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Design

·         Design and architect enterprise-grade cloud solutions on AWS platform

·         Create detailed solution blueprints and technical documentation

·         Conduct cloud readiness assessments and feasibility studies

·         Recommend optimal AWS services and architectural patterns

·         Client & Stakeholder Engagement

·         Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications

·         Present architectural recommendations to C-level executives and technical teams

·         Provide expertise during pre-sales and discovery phases

·         Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams

·         Implementation & Optimization

·         Oversee solution deployment and implementation timelines

·         Ensure best practices for security, performance, and cost optimization

·         Lead proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilots

·         Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure post-deployment

·         Technical Leadership

·         Mentor junior architects and engineers

·         Maintain knowledge of latest AWS services and industry trends

·         Establish architectural standards and guidelines

·         Participate in technical reviews and architecture boards

 

Required Qualifications

Experience

·         10+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud architecture experience

·         10+ years of hands-on AWS experience

·         Demonstrated success designing and implementing production cloud solutions

·         Experience with multi-tier application architecture

·         Technical Skills

·         Deep knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, etc.)

·         Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance

·         Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)

·         Proficiency with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS)

·         Database design and optimization experience

·         Certifications (Preferred)

·         AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification

·         AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification

 

Soft Skills

·         Excellent communication and presentation abilities

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

·         Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

·         Client-facing expertise and consultative approach

·         Project management capabilities

 

Preferred Qualifications

AWS certification beyond Solutions Architect level
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures
Migration experience (AWS DataMigration Services, Application Migration Service)
Understanding of AI/ML services on AWS
Experience with specific industry verticals (Finance, Healthcare, Retail, etc.)
