Job Description:

• Seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in Android device automation testing and test framework development.
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on automation experience and expertise in Playwright, Java programming, and Kafka framework automation.
• This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Android-based applications and systems.
• The candidate should be capable of building scalable automation frameworks, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end testing initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Android device testing.
• Create and execute automated test scripts using Playwright or similar automation tools.
• Develop automation solutions using Java and industry-standard design patterns.
• Build and maintain automation for Kafka-based messaging and event-driven applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Enhance automation coverage and improve testing efficiency across applications and platforms.
• Support CI/CD integration and ensure automation execution within release pipelines.
• Collaborate with business, development, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

 

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Playwright Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Java programming.
• Experience automating and validating Kafka-based applications and message flows.
• Knowledge of Android device testing and mobile automation concepts.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience with test automation framework development and maintenance.
