Job Title: Security Analyst
Location: Tallahassee, FL (100% Onsite), Need Local candidates only
Duration: September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 (1666 Hours)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Security Analyst to support the Information Security team in developing Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans for agency systems. The role involves security policy development, Microsoft 365 security administration, endpoint management, software deployment, and vulnerability remediation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of IT experience with knowledge of:
- Architecture Design
- Software Development
- Database Management Systems
- Systems Integration in multi-platform environments
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office 365 security and endpoint management.
- Strong desktop support experience with Microsoft products and software management.

Responsibilities
- Develop and support COOP and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans.
- Research and develop security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Enroll and manage Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices in Microsoft Intune.
- Package and deploy Win32, LOB, and Store applications.
- Configure Windows Update for Business policies.
- Create and manage Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels and data classification policies.
- Configure trainable classifiers, EDM, and sensitive information types.
- Evaluate Microsoft 365 security features and licensing.
- Maintain endpoint security baselines and compliance.
- Perform software inventory, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
- Conduct tabletop exercises and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
