Job Description:

Required Skills & Experience
Java & Spring Boot Architecture

12+ years of experience in Java application development and architecture.
Strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Microservices Architecture, and RESTful APIs.
Experience designing scalable, high-availability, and distributed enterprise applications.
Expertise in event-driven and domain-driven architecture (DDD).
Hands-on experience with API Gateway, Service Mesh, and enterprise integration patterns.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Mandatory

Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Build, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
Experience designing and implementing cloud-native applications on GCP.
Strong understanding of IAM, networking, security, and cost optimization within GCP.
GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer are highly preferred.
Cloud-Native & DevOps

Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, Helm, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and automated cloud deployments.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, and ELK.
Messaging & Data Integration

Apache Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, asynchronous messaging, event-driven architecture.
Experience with API integrations, messaging systems, and enterprise integration frameworks.
Databases

Strong SQL knowledge with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Bigtable, or Cassandra.
Performance tuning and database optimization.
Architecture & Design

Enterprise architecture, cloud migration, modernization of legacy applications.
Design patterns, secure coding practices, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization.
Experience conducting architecture reviews and providing technical leadership.
Nice to Have

AI/ML integration using Vertex AI or Generative AI services.
Experience with Apache Spark or Databricks.
Banking or Financial Services domain experience.

Architect, design, and develop enterprise-grade Java Spring Boot microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives using GCP-native services.
Build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications.
Define architecture standards, best practices, and governance.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and business teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
Mentor development teams and drive technical excellence across projects.
Ensure application performance, reliability, security, and operational readiness.
