Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation (CM) Consultant to support a remote SAP BRIM engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation, usage data processing, mediation flows, and integration with other BRIM components.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP BRIM CM solutions across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a Senior SAP BRIM CM Consultant with deep hands-on expertise in Convergent Mediation and a strong understanding of the broader BRIM ecosystem. The candidate should be able to independently lead CM workstreams, troubleshoot complex mediation and usage-processing issues, and collaborate effectively with business and technical teams in a remote environment.”     

Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation (CM) implementation and support activities.
Analyze business and technical requirements related to usage-based billing and usage-to-cash processes.
Design and configure CM flows for usage data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, validation, routing, aggregation, and distribution.
Configure and support mediation processes for high-volume usage and event data.
Troubleshoot data processing issues, mediation failures, reconciliation errors, and production incidents.
Support integration between SAP BRIM CM and related components, including:
SAP Convergent Charging (CC)
SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI)
SAP Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA)
SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM)
SAP S/4HANA
SAP CRM and external systems
Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, fit-gap analysis, and functional workshops.
Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams on enhancements and integrations.
Support unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
Monitor production processes and support reconciliation, exception management, and performance optimization.
Perform root cause analysis and provide permanent solutions for recurring production issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, developers, testers, and other SAP BRIM consultants.
Provide technical and functional guidance to junior consultants and contribute to BRIM best practices.
Required Skills
8+ years of overall SAP experience with strong SAP BRIM expertise.
4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation (CM).
Strong understanding of SAP BRIM end-to-end business processes.
Hands-on experience with usage data collection, mediation, transformation, enrichment, validation, routing, and aggregation.
Experience with usage-to-cash and billing processes.
Strong knowledge of SAP BRIM components such as:
Convergent Mediation (CM)
Convergent Charging (CC)
Convergent Invoicing (CI)
FI-CA
Subscription Order Management (SOM)
Experience integrating SAP BRIM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP CRM, and third-party systems.
Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
Experience with testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote delivery environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large-scale SAP BRIM implementations.
Experience in telecommunications, utilities, media, or other subscription/usage-based industries.
Experience with high-volume usage and event processing.
SAP BRIM certification is preferred.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments is a plus.
