Production Support/Platform Engineer – Charlotte, NC

Production Support (Platform) Engineer
Location : Charlotte-NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review and remediate moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to other platform support teams

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of experience in SAS programming, including supporting, analyzing, and modernizing enterprise SAS (Base SAS, SQL, Macros, batch processing) 2+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle and Teradata databases, including SQL query development, data analysis, performance tuning, and database support in a production environment

Desired Qualifications:
1+ years of practical knowledge of AI/LLMs, including prompt engineering, output validation, and governed enterprise usage
Experience participating in implementation and deployment activities, ensuring adherence to established Wells Fargo processes, standards, and operational procedures.
