Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect with 14+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience and 5+ years of hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will lead enterprise cloud transformation initiatives, define modernization roadmaps, establish cloud governance frameworks, and architect secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.
This role requires deep expertise in GCP architecture, enterprise DevOps transformation, cloud governance, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes, application modernization, hybrid cloud networking, and enterprise architecture. The candidate will also mentor Solution Architects and Technical Leads while driving strategic cloud adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Cloud Architecture
Lead enterprise-wide cloud architecture initiatives with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Define cloud strategy, architecture principles, and enterprise technology roadmaps.
Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
Establish enterprise cloud reference architectures and design standards.
Cloud Transformation & Modernization
Develop and execute enterprise cloud transformation strategies.
Create modernization roadmaps for legacy application migration to GCP.
Lead application modernization initiatives, including Monolith-to-Microservices, Containerization, and Serverless Architectures.
Define migration strategies including Lift-and-Shift, Re-platforming, and Re-architecting.
Enterprise DevOps Transformation
Drive enterprise DevOps transformation and cloud automation initiatives.
Establish CI/CD best practices using Cloud Build and Cloud Deploy.
Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Standardize cloud deployment pipelines and engineering practices.
Governance, Security & Compliance
Establish enterprise-wide cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
Design identity and access management using Google Cloud IAM.
Implement security monitoring and governance using Security Command Center, Cloud Audit Logs, and Organization Policy Service.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
Enterprise Architecture & Integration
Define enterprise integration strategies across cloud and on-premises platforms.
Architect distributed systems supporting high availability and scalability.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enterprise architecture improvements.
Support hybrid cloud and multi-cloud adoption strategies where applicable.
Data & Analytics Platform
Design cloud-native data architectures using:

Support enterprise analytics, streaming, and data integration initiatives.
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of cloud data platforms.
Compute, Containers & Networking
Architect compute platforms using:

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
14+ years of Enterprise Architecture experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proven expertise in cloud transformation strategy and enterprise modernization programs.
Strong experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native architectures.
Deep knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, and cloud-native deployments.
Strong understanding of enterprise DevOps transformation and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience implementing enterprise governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and executive communication skills.
Experience mentoring Solution Architects and Technical Leads.
Preferred Qualifications
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
Google Professional DevOps Engineer Certification.
TOGAF Certification.
Experience with multi-cloud architectures (AWS and Azure).
Experience leading large-scale enterprise cloud migration programs.
Experience conducting M&A technical due diligence.
